Are you still a student or are you eager to learn the trade? You will be guided step-by-step internally at our workshop in Druten to develop into an independent overhaul mechanic.
As a trainee overhaul mechanic at GTEX, you will assist with the overhauling, inspection, and assembly of industrial refrigeration and heat pump compressors.
What will you do?
- Dismantling, inspecting, cleaning, and overhauling compressors
- Checking for wear, tolerances, and technical condition
- Replacing and assembling parts according to specifications
What do we ask?
- Technical interest and an affinity for mechanical work and engineering
- MBO-level education (or currently pursuing a technical degree) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automotive technology, or similar
- Interest in transitioning into technology through potential retraining
- Precise, eager to learn, and responsible
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A desire to learn the trade in practice
